  • Thank You

My sincerest appreciation for all the support received throughout the duration and success of my 11th Municipal election. I have always believed in “Putting People First” and it is with “thanks” and humility that I am honored again to be reelected and work with the entire Town of Oakville and of course the people of Ward 1 in Bronte & Lakeshore Woods. Please always feel free to get in touch with me for any reason and at any time. Ralph

Ralph-Robinson-Diviserty-photo2Ward 1 welcomes new residents to Oakville from all over the world and is home to several thousand people living with physical diversities or disabilities. Ralph Robinson is a member of the Halton Multicultural Council and founding member of the provincially legislated Accessibility Advisory Committee. The Committee formed following the Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2001, replaced by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA). The Act mandated the Committee to annually review and recommend to Council the approval of an updated Accessibility Plan for people with disabilities and to review and consult with the public at least once annually on the components of the Corporate Accessibility Plan.

Ralph has been part of the review of Town facilities, services and programs to address equal access to all individuals; consultation with the public on components of the plan; and consultation with Planning Services staff on applicable Site Plan applications as stipulated under the AODA.
